Psychology and the Other hosted its fifth international conference on October 4th-6th, 2019. The conference was a wonderful experience and we were honored to learn from the presenters and attendees who brought such rich and profound engagement and conversations. Thank you to all who participated in investing in this event and bringing an impressive array and depth of scholarly, clinical, and politically minded exchange.
Our line-up of plenary, invited, and featured speakers were stellar and reached across several disciplines including psychology, social work, philosophy, theology, religious studies, anthropology, sociology, the humanities, and literary and global studies.
Following a Call for Proposals, we received submissions from 550 authors, from over 30 countries.
This event was hosted in Gasson Hall of picturesque Boston College in Fall 2019 with 180 presenters. Including plenary address by Adrienne Harris, Juliet Mitchell, Adrian Johnston, Sheldon George, Kevin Hart, & Ann Ulanov.
Publication venues will be announced shortly. Click here for previous conference publications.
